Heavy rains from Storm Laurens continue to batter Spain, causing at least one death, flooded rivers, accidents, road closures and evacuations in several regions. A search is underway in the Spanish city of Seville for a missing couple. In the province of Cordoba, another man went missing after going for a bike ride. The province of Malaga was one of the hardest hit by the storm. The banks of the Guadalhorce and Campanillas rivers burst their banks due to heavy rain, forcing the evacuation of several areas in Malaga and Cártama. In the early morning, the city of Coin recorded the highest rainfall in the country, with 55.4 liters per square meter. In the region of Murcia, the rains also caused road accidents. An Imserso bus carrying passengers overturned on the A-7 highway, injuring several people.
