My BVL - Using Home Automation to Make Life Safer

The brains of vestibular patients rely more heavily on sight to maintain balance. The more damage to the vestibular system, the more the brain relies on what the eyes see. So as you might imagine, darkness is a big problem for vestibular patients.

As a BVL patient, I'm in trouble if I can't see the floor or ground under my feet. That creates problem when the house is dark. But there are workarounds, and I found one in home automation.

By combining home automation with smart lighting, I have made my homw much safer. An that eases my mind, as well as my wife's. Learn more about it in this video.
