Michael Danby Reacts to Trump’s Proposal for US Control of Ukraine’s Power Plants

Former Labor MP Michael Danby has weighed in on US President Donald Trump’s recent suggestion for the United States to take ownership of Ukraine’s power plants for security.

It comes as Trump held a "very good" phone call with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, a day after speaking to Russia's President Vladimir Putin.

The call, which lasted about an hour, saw Trump float the idea of the US taking ownership of Ukraine's power plants.
