Trump’s Challenges, Tech Revolutions, and Global Tensions
This podcast, dated March 20, 2025, explores Donald Trump’s efforts to exert control amidst resistance from the deep state, particularly the CIA, questioning his ability to follow through on promises. It briefly shifts to college basketball commentary before discussing BYD’s electric vehicle charging stations, which could recharge as fast as filling a gas tank, potentially revolutionizing EV use for longer trips. The conversation turns to AI’s unstoppable rapid evolution and fast food chains adopting automation to counter rising minimum wages, reducing entry-level jobs. It covers Trump’s recent call with Putin, speculating on Ukraine negotiations and efforts to normalize U.S.-Russia relations, contrasted by France’s alarming invasion guide amid war fears. Concerns arise over a potential war with Iran, fueled by Houthi attacks on shipping lanes and U.S. arms exports, criticized as job creation through conflict. Russia and Ukraine’s prisoner exchange is noted, alongside the Federal Reserve’s decision to hold rates steady amid economic uncertainty, with calls to audit and dismantle it. The podcast ends with the IRS whistleblowers receiving raises and joining the Treasury’s investigation division under Scott Bessent to probe alleged misconduct.
In areas that Trump has control, he is doing everything that he can. The CIA is tough. It is unknown that Trump can do certain things and follow through because of the deep state.
College basketball commentary.
BYD EV charging stations in the same time it takes to fill up with gas. This could be a game changer. Long trips would not be done with an EV, but what if you are able to recharge in the time to full up with a tank of gas.
We started talking about AI and how things are changing so rapidly that it won’t be able to be stopped.
How many times did you go to fast food during COVID and you were asked to be patient because of lack of workers. Remember when you couldn’t go into dining rooms because of COVID. And they will not pay someone $20 an hour to hand you fries. They have finally figured out a way to solve the problem. Fast food chains have figured out how to dodge rising minimum wages and its bad news for workers. Multiple fast food chains are setting the foundation to swap out entry level employees for computers.
When Trump talked to Putin two days ago. Did Putin ask Trump if he was the one that was negotiating the unconditional surrender of Ukraine. Zelensky is living on borrowed time. There are teams in the Trump administration that are working to make negotiations for the US to go back into Russia and have embassies open back up and normalize relationships. So why is France terrifying its citizens? France issues its citizens with an invasion guide - including how to survive a nuclear attack after Macron warned Europe must prepare for war.
There is a concern about war with Iran. The Houthis rebels are backed by Iran in Yemen. There are hundreds of attacks on cargo ships disrupting the shipping lanes near Yeman between the red sea and Gulf of Aden. Israel intercepts a ballistic missile fired by the Houthis. War is big business. The concern is the start of a war. The US dominates global arms exports. We don’t need to be in a position to create jobs that result in killing people. The US largest industry is exporting arms.
Russia and Ukraine exchange 175 prisoners of war on each side.
The Fed holds rates steady amid unusually high uncertainty. We have our weather forecasters that have struggled to get the weather right and then we have the financial forecasters that struggle to determine what the economy will do. No one can make recession predictions. They are pushing the fear of tariffs on inflation. The Federal Reserve is not federal, and we need to get an audit of the books and close it down and take back our money. If Jerome Powell indicated a recession, it would have been a five alarm fire on all the networks and on the markets. But it didn’t happen. They propped up Biden's phony printed money economy and trying to take down the Trump economy.
The two IRS whistleblowers got a raise and they will probe alleged wrongdoing in case. Scott Bessent brought the two whistleblowers on board as senior advisors at the investigation division at the Department of Treasury.
