This podcast unpacks Georgia’s political turbulence, warning that emails from America First Tea Party, linked to Debbie Dooley, are toxic. It highlights MountainLegislativeWatch.org’s weekly alerts and urges Governor Brian Kemp to veto SB144, a Senate-passed bill unchanged by the House. GOP infighting stalls a religious liberty bill, with Republicans Deborah Silcox and faux-Republican Stan Gunter siding with Democrats, thwarting a long-sought win since Nathan Deal’s era. Meanwhile, Kemp’s tort reform priority teeters on a House vote, shaped by insurance lobbyists and strategic tweaks, likely passing as planned. The Georgia Supreme Court probes the State Election Board’s last-minute voting rule changes, challenged in lower courts despite Trump’s uncontested win and smooth county certifications. The podcast flags this case as critical, exposing GOP divisions and power struggles.

If you receive an email from America First Tea Party, it contains a virus, Debbie Dooley.
MountainLegislativeWatch.org overview. The alerts they send out on the legislation that they send out weekly.
We are calling on Governor Kemp to veto SB144. It originated in the senate, the house made no changes. It is waiting for governor Kemps signature.
GOP divisions derail religious liberty vote in Georgia for now. It stalled in the house after two republicans joined the democrats to oppose. We have been trying to get this passed under Nathan Deal. Deborah Silcox, who represents a wing district voted against the bill after her effort to add an anti discrimination clause was rejected by the GOP led committee. She was joined by Stan Gunter, a democrat under the guise of republican from Blairsville. Once again this will fail again because of Stan Gunter from a county that voted 80% for Donald Trump.
Fate of Brian Kemp's priority bill rests on a House vote today. The tort reform bill. They knew you would fight it from the beginning. The insurance lobbyists are pushing Brian Kemp. They knew the groups that would fight against them so they ran the game plan. The governor put a bill out there and got it in the senate. And Kemp came with his ultimatum and AJC wrote an article. An attorney put up an amendment and it was passed. The House put a couple of tweaks on the bill. With all the drama the house will pass it, and the governor signs it and it will probably look like the originally planned bill.
Georgia supreme court questions State Election Board on last minute voting rule changes. Just like the federal government, they ran to a lower court to challenge the legal rules that were passed. Now this judge ruled that the rules were laws and the board doesn’t have the right to make laws. The Supreme Court will rule what the power of the State Election Board has. Keep in mind that Trump won the election and every county certified the election without any controversy about vote counting procedures that the State Election Board tried to change. REmember that statement. Pay attention to this case.
