Ryan Garcia Claims He Wasn't In the Right State of Mind During Haney Fight

In a recent interview with Ak & Barak, Ryan claims he wasn't right.

I am surprised I’m here right now,” Garcia told “Ak & Barak” during an episode of RING CHAMPS. “I was drinking every day, every single day, even the day of the [Haney] fight.

On the day of the fight, I just got so involved in trying to cope with whatever was happening inside. And like I said, I had been struggling mentally for years, and it just wouldn’t stop for me. So, like I said, that’s how I cope with it.”

The thing is, Ryan Garcia lies so much that it's hard to tell when he's sincere. It appears he's on a public sympathy tour. I don't take anything Ryan Garcia says seriously.

When you couple that with the bigoted comments he's made in the past about Black people, he comes off as a racist piece of sh*t. We'll see how this redemption campaign works out for Ryan in the near future.

In other news, Teofimo Lopez explained why Eddie Reynoso isn't training him for his upcoming fight against Arnold Barboza. "Eddie didn't speak to my father. He told our team that he would not work with us for my upcoming fight.

I don't know if we did something wrong or if they are just focused on themselves. Maybe they felt like they needed more time to work with me. It doesn't make sense. I'm disappointed I won't work with team Canelo for this fight.
