The King and the Faithful Horse
The King and the Faithful Horse
Once upon a time, there was a great king named King Arthur, who ruled a prosperous kingdom brimming with wealth. But his most distinguished feature wasn't his luxurious palace or his powerful army, but his loyal horse, "Barak," who accompanied him through every battle and adventure.
The Precious Gift
When King Arthur was young, he received "Barak" as a gift from an old knight, who told him, "This horse is no ordinary one. It will support you in the most difficult times, so take good care of it." From that day on, the horse and the king were inseparable.
Barak was faster than the wind, smarter than any other horse, and understood the king's words and glances, even without him speaking them.
The Great Betrayal
One day, the kingdom was exposed to a plot by a nobleman greedy for the throne. He deceived the king, sending him on a distant hunting trip, then took advantage of his absence to seize the castle. When Arthur returned, he found the gates of his palace locked and his guards mutinied against him.
The king tried to enter, but the enemies were more numerous. As he contemplated his plan, Baraq stamped his hooves as if to tell him something! The king realized that his horse wanted to leap over the high palace walls.
The Great Leap
Without hesitation, Arthur mounted Baraq and galloped off at full speed. As he approached the wall, the horse leaped a mighty leap, the likes of which no one had ever seen! The king landed in the middle of the palace courtyard, astonishing everyone, and bravely fought the traitors.
Thanks to Baraq's intelligence and the king's courage, he was able to reclaim his palace and return to his throne victorious. As for the loyal horse, it became a symbol of strength and loyalty and was celebrated throughout the kingdom for many years.
The End of the Legend
When Baraq grew old, he no longer participated in battles, but the king kept him as his dearest friend, visiting him every day and speaking to him as if he were a brother. When the horse died, the king ordered a statue of him to be erected in the palace courtyard so that everyone would remember him for all time.
Thus, Baraq the horse became a legend in the kingdom, and was known as the horse that saved his king, and changed the course of history with a single leap
