The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, was known among his people before and after the Risaalah (message) as Al-Ameen (The Trustworthy One). People would choose him to keep their deposits, and place them with him.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sought trustworthiness and urged his companions to do so. He told them, “There is no Iman for one who has no trustworthiness, and no Deen for one who holds to no covenant.”

The Prophet ﷺ was called Al-Ameen one because he was entrusted with the Words of Allah, His Deen, and His Revelation. He ﷺ was the highest and most sublime example of trustworthiness as he conveyed the Risaalah (message) of his Lord.

The Prophet ﷺ carried the trust of Deen, which the heavens and the earth refused to carried and were afraid of. He ﷺ carried it with trustworthiness and did not hesitate to carry it.

The Prophet ﷺ was a trustworthy guardian of Islam, raising its Liwaa flag, implementing its Shariah Law, establishing its Shariah rulings, and spreading its Dawah among all people so that Deen would be entirely for Allah, the Most High. He is certainly the role model.

Yes, “Indeed in the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, you have the best example.”
