More than 41k witness slips have been filed in opposition to HB 2827, a bill to usurp parental rights and diminish homeschool freedoms in Illinois.

The sponsor of this legislation claims to want to protect children based on some antidotal stories of neglect and ill-treatment... Yet abuse by a few parents who claim to homeschool does NOT excuse onerous regulations for tens of thousands of families who educate at home diligently.
