learning how to weave silver wire | 16 strand basket weave

Come and join me on a creative adventure to learn a new technique. This week I started learning how to weave wire.

Wire weaving is an ancient practice, some of the earliest examples of necklace chains were made this way and look stunning.

All you need for this project is some wire (doesn't have to be silver), a day to spare and some patience. It's a very calming activity but also quite monotonous so please do bring some in-flight entertainment to your creation session!
