US President Donald Trump held crucial phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 18, to discuss on the Ukraine conflict. The historic phone call as per Russian news agency claims, lasted for 2 hours 50 min, where both the leaders discussed on the ceasefire deal. Day after the phone call, Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov informed that Russian authority called off a drone attack on Ukraine. However, Peskov in turn accused Ukraine of not respecting the 30-day moratorium on striking each other's energy infrastructure. Following this, Kremlin spox accused the Ukrainian forces of trying to attack Russian energy infrastructure overnight. Notably, Russia claimed earlier Ukraine tried to sabotage the energy ceasefire with a drone strike on a southern oil depot. However, US President Donald Trump remains on his toes in an effort to broker peace to stop prolonged Russia-Ukraine war
