Did Moses write the Pentateuch?

In Judaism, it is recognized that not all of the Law was authored by Moses. For instance, the account of Moses' death in Deuteronomy 34 is generally believed to have been written by his successor, Joshua. As Orthodox Christians, we begin with the belief that a prophet can foresee the future and that the biblical texts are divinely inspired. However, even a brief analysis reveals that certain verses in the Pentateuch are challenging to attribute directly to Moses.
