SB 1014 brings newborn testing requirements among other things into code with a very poorly written religious exemption.

HB 290 lists currently required vaccines and requirements for children to be excluded from school or daycare in the event of an outbreak.

While we appreciate bringing the department rules under the purview of the legislature we strongly believe this process should have been done with careful and deliberate oversight.

The 2026 legislative session will be clean up time and we need your help. Please let us know if you can join us in researching these rules, which are becoming law, and creating bills next legislative session to keep Idaho the most Health Freedom Loving state in the nation.
