The Mirror That Eats

Cracked glass frame with teeth so fine,
Swallows souls and drinks the spine,
Reflections twist with bleeding eyes,
Trapping those who speak in lies.

Fingers reach from silver seams,
Hungry void that devours dreams,
Echoed screams within the frame,
Mirror whispers every name.

Stare too long, it bites your face,
Leaves you lost in a shattered place,
Skin will peel and bones will break,
In the mirror where shadows ache.

Drip by drip, the memories seep,
Staining floors where nightmares creep,
Eyes that blink from fractured light,
Pull you closer through the night.

Veins of mercury pulse and gleam,
Stealing breath and eating scream,
You can’t escape its icy grin,
The mirror’s curse crawls through your skin.

Step inside and lose your name,
Join the feast of twisted shame,
Where every soul is carved and chewed,
And faces blur with endless feud.

Stare too long, it bites your face,
Leaves you lost in a shattered place,
Skin will peel and bones will break,
In the mirror where shadows ache.

Once you’re gone, it smiles anew,
Waiting for the next to view,
Silver teeth with hunger vast,
Feeding on the souls that pass.
