We Harvest Shadows is an emotional first-person narrative game that intertwines farming simulation with psychological horror elements. Developed by David Wehle, creator of The First Tree, the game places players in the shoes of Garrett, a city dweller who has chosen to seclude himself on an abandoned farm, believing the world is better off without him. Each day presents new tasks: repairing the house, tending to livestock, and enhancing the farmstead, all while exploring the expansive Appalachian wilderness surrounding the property. As night falls, an unsettling presence emerges, leading Garrett to question his solitude and sanity. Inspired by slow-burn psychological horror titles and personal first-person narratives, We Harvest Shadows offers a unique blend of atmospheric storytelling and immersive gameplay.
