ISRAEL Faces Worldwide OUTRAGE!
Right, so with the Gaza ceasefire having been officially and unilaterally ended by Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu opting to save his own skin at the expense of the lives of however many Palestinians that will now be going forwards, well over 300 overnight, as well as the lives of the 57 Israeli hostages still being held in Gaza, the overwhelming response has been one of condemnation from across the board, both inside and outside Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
What Netanyahu has done has been to make a move so obviously self serving, there’s no room for doubt and all the more so now than ever before, there is no excusing those who will continue to support him and Israel’s actions going forward in Gaza, so just to underline this, I thought I’d put to video some of these statements that are being released, that the mainstream media will not cover, because it goes against the pro Zionist narratives demanded of them, but also the crackpot claims being made by those still ardently supporting the Israeli government, just to underline how absolutely insane they are and that you have to be to still go along with supporting the war crimes and genocide once again being committed.
Right, so the overnight strikes on Gaza have begun once more, Netanyahu unilaterally calling off the Gaza ceasefire officially, in his words to rescue the hostages, even though that was part of phase two. Nobody has been fooled by this, not even in Israeli media, even the ostensibly loyal ones to the Netanyahu regime, because the truth is phase two would have seen Netanyahu’s government collapse and he chose himself over the hostages and over the people of Gaza as a result.
But since this has come to pass, the statements being issued by both sides have come thick and fast, though there is a world of difference between those logically condemning genocide and those making excuses for it in the most insane manner possible, so lets get into what has been said and I suppose the best place to start would be the initial statement issued early on by Hamas:
‘Netanyahu and his Nazi government resume their aggression and genocidal war against defenceless civilians in the Gaza Strip.
We hold the criminal Netanyahu and the Nazi-Zionist occupation fully responsible for the repercussions of the treacherous aggression on Gaza, and for the defenceless civilians and our besieged Palestinian people, who are subjected to a brutal war and a systematic policy of starvation.
Netanyahu and his extremist government have decided to overturn the ceasefire agreement, exposing the prisoners in Gaza to an unknown fate.
We demand that the mediators hold Netanyahu and the Zionist occupation fully responsible for violating and overturning the agreement.
We call on the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to assume their historical responsibility in supporting the steadfastness and valiant resistance of our Palestinian people, and in breaking the unjust siege imposed on the Gaza Strip
We call on the United Nations and the UN Security Council to convene urgently to adopt a resolution obligating the occupation to halt its aggression and abide by Resolution 2735, which calls for an end to the aggression and withdrawal from the entire Gaza Strip.’
This was followed up by a more pointed attack on Netanyahu:
‘The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) asserts that the Israeli occupation has reneged on the ceasefire agreement, evading its commitments, and continues to perpetrate massacres against our people in Gaza amidst disgraceful international silence.
The allegations made by the occupation regarding preparations by the resistance to launch an attack on its forces are baseless, serving merely as flimsy pretexts to justify its return to war and the escalation of its bloody aggression.
The occupation attempts to mislead public opinion and fabricate false justifications to cover its premeditated decision to resume genocide against defenceless civilians, showing no regard for any commitments it has made.
Hamas remained committed to the agreement until the last moment and was keen on its continuation. However, Netanyahu, seeking an escape from his internal crises, preferred to ignite war anew at the expense of our people's blood.’
As careful as you have to be when talking about Hamas, it is factually true that they, alongside international mediators, were pushing Israel to stick to the originally agreed ceasefire plan which was to move to phase 2. Israel refused, we know why, it would have brought down the government, this is where we are today. Lets park that there for now though.
Palestinian Islamic Jihad, present in both Gaza and the West Bank have also issued a statement in light of Israel’s overnight attacks, saying:
‘The announcement by war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu and his government of the resumption of aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip is a continuation of massacres as part of a genocide taking place before the eyes of the entire world, after he deliberately thwarted all efforts to reach a ceasefire.
This new aggression will not grant the enemy an upper hand over the resistance—neither on the battlefield nor in negotiations. Netanyahu and his bloodthirsty Nazi government will not escape their crises through this war; instead, it will further weaken them, add to their failures, and they will emerge from it humiliated and defeated.
We affirm that what Netanyahu and his barbaric army have failed to achieve in fifteen months of crimes and bloodshed, they will fail to achieve again—thanks to the steadfastness of our oppressed people and the bravery of our fighters in the fields of jihad and resistance.’
So lets move a little beyond Gaza at this point and what is being said, is that support for opposing Israel once again still there? Who else has weighed in? Well the Houthis in Yemen have, their statement reading:
‘We condemn the Zionist enemy's resumption of aggression against the Gaza Strip and the targeting of defenceless civilians there.
The aggressive raids launched by the Israeli enemy this morning against the Gaza Strip coincided with the US aggression against Yemen and followed weeks of starvation of the Palestinian people and the prevention of aid from entering the Strip, with the aim of weakening the Palestinian negotiators and achieving political victories that were not achieved during the 15-month Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood.
The Palestinian people will not be left alone in this battle, and Yemen will continue to support and escalate the confrontation, as confirmed by Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, may God protect him.
We hold the Zionist and American enemies fully responsible for violating the ceasefire agreement and thwarting all efforts to move to the second phase, as well as for the remilitarization of the seas and the intensification of tensions in the region. They must bear the consequences and repercussions of this, regardless of their magnitude.
We call on all free people in the world to reject this aggression and stand by the oppressed Palestinian people by all possible means.
We call on the international community and international organizations to condemn this aggression and the massacres committed against the Palestinian people during these blessed days of Ramadan, and to shoulder their historical responsibility in this context.’
Sounds like attacks on Israel by the Houthis are likely to resume therefore as if that was really in much doubt and certainly instructions being issued from local council heads, contrary it must be said, to the recommendations of the Israeli Home Front Command, that bomb shelters be opened in major cities such as Yavne, Rishon LeZion, Ramat Gan, and Rehovot, in anticipation of a possible rocket attack. I wonder who from?
Back in Israel, the condemnation has continued as this statement from the Families of Israeli Prisoners Headquarters has put the boot in too.
‘Urgent Call – Prisoners Are Being Killed: Families March to Jerusalem for Demonstration, Inviting Public Participation.
In light of the government's decision to sacrifice 59 prisoners in Gaza, the families are now heading to Jerusalem and call upon the public to join them.
There is nothing more important than this – military pressure will lead to the killing of live prisoners and the disappearance of the bodies of the deceased.’
That’s one side of the coin, the families of prisoners who even before the ceasefire was ended, were blaming Netanyahu for not doing what needed to be done to bring their family members home, but he’s got their voices in one ear, and the guy who has Netanyahu’s nuts in a vice in the other, and Bezalel Smotrich, could not be more insanely delighted this morning if he tried, having issued what is arguably one of the most unhinged statements I’ve ever read:
‘As we promised and explained, the Israeli military returned last night to an intense assault on Gaza with the goal of destroying Hamas, bringing back all the captives, and eliminating the threat posed by the Gaza Strip to Israeli citizens. By doing so, we aim to restore security to the residents of the Gaza border area and all citizens of Israel in the long term.
This is a gradual operation that we have planned and prepared over the past weeks since the new Chief of Staff took office. With God's help, it will look entirely different from what has been done so far. We will all need to renew our commitment with strength, faith, and determination—until victory, with God's help.
I send my blessings and prayers first and foremost to the soldiers of the Israeli military, the Chief of Staff, the Minister of Defence, and the Prime Minister.
For this moment, we remained in the government despite our opposition to the deal, and we are more determined than ever to complete the mission and destroy Hamas.
Whoever did to us what Hamas did on Simchat Torah—will be annihilated. Period.
Our Father in Heaven, Rock and Redeemer of Israel, bless the State of Israel, the beginning of our redemption. Protect it with Your loving grace, spread over it Your shelter of peace, send Your light and truth to its leaders and advisors, and guide them with good counsel from You. Strengthen the hands of the defenders of our holy land, grant them salvation, and crown them with victory. May You bring peace to the land and eternal joy to its inhabitants.’
When its been said before that religion has caused more wars than anything else, reading that statement goes to show true that can be. He is insane, but he also holds enough power to end Netanyahu’s government and there can be no peace whilst this government still stands, a government obsessed with ideology and self preservation.
Other nations have of course opined as well, from Egypt calling this a dangerous escalation which threatens to bring serious consequences for the stability of the region, Turkey, still supplying oil to Israel of course, have said the attacks amounted to a new phase in Israel’s policy of genocide and other nations have weighed in besides.
It is a travesty that we are here again, but it was also expected, it was predicted, because Netanyahu keeping himself in power is all consuming to him. Nobody matters as much as he does to himself.
That isn’t to say of course that Netanyahu will find it easy to go back into gaza in exactly the same way as before and indeed they are saying things will be different this time. Perhaps that’s because they have massive recruitment problems in the IDF and with so much fighting not just in Gaza, but the West Bank, Lebanon and Syria still going on as well, are they just spread too thinly with too little resources?
