Education Without Learning - Why Some Temple Teachings Are Useless

Monthly prayer circles were common practice among our people until 1978. When they were since discontinued.

When it comes to calculus, many ask, why learn this if I am never going to use it. Does that same line of teaching apply to the temple?

While I'm not yet brave enough or confident enough to feel I could do the true order of prayer in my house without accidentally opening a portal to hell or maybe something worse like Ogden or something. Its worth mentioning that the application of this knowledge was once common practice, and there was truly a social aspect of temple worship in these prayer circle events.

Nowadays the temple is such a lonely and isolating experience. Its easy to wonder what things would be like had this practice of prayer circles not be restored away.
