Gaza's fragile ceasefire has been shattered.
A wave of Israeli strikes has killed more than 410 Palestinians, many of them women and children.
It comes after Israel had blocked the entry of humanitarian aid into the strip for the past 17 days, depriving Palestinians of food, water, medicine and fuel.
Israel's latest assault targeted areas across the strip, including Khan Younis, Gaza City and Deir el-Balah.
It says it was targeting members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
Israeli forces are now threatening to increase their attacks.
Hamas says that five of its civil servants are among the hundreds killed.
It includes the Director of Gaza's internal security service.
Families are mourning their loved ones - while the injured have been taken to overwhelmed hospitals.
Medical facilities are stretched since Israel has prevented the entry of medicine and fuel.

Al Jazeera’s Hind Khoudary reports from Deir el-Balah, Gaza.

Israel's air strikes on Gaza have wiped out entire families overnight.
Palestinians say the intensity of the attacks resembles the early days of the war.
Dozens of bodies have been brought to al-Ahli Hospital, the last health facility still partially functioning in Gaza City.

Reporting from Gaza City, Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud said that Israel’s strikes had once again turned Gaza into a “killing box”.

Israel has launched a major assault on Gaza, shattering the fragile two-month-old ceasefire between its forces and Hamas.
At least 237 people have been killed in renewed Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip, including many children.
Israel's military is now threatening to increase those attacks.

Al Jazeera’s Alex Baird reports.
