God is good all the time 1314: Lentan Importance?

This is an interesting discussion to have. Why do we celebrate lent and Ash Wednesday? Is there some significance to it? If it's mostly a Catholic thing why do we celebrate it as Protestants? All good questions and we are going to attempt to discuss it.
