Longdesin Road Extension Construction, episode 4 🇹🇼 (2025-01) {aerial}

Views of the site of the new road bridge crossing Love River and the eastern extension of Longdesin Road, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.
Longdesin Road has been extended to the east to take some traffic from Dashun Road. It connects Boai 1st Rd. with Minzu 1st Rd. It runs roughly parallel to Dashun 1st Rd. Building in the right of way have been demolished to create access to Minzu Road. A new Love River bridge has been built. Works have started in October 2022 and were fully finished in July 2024 when Longde East Road was opened for traffic.
Interesting to know, a storm water retention box culvert with a length of 240 meters, a width of 11.4 meters, and a depth of 2.65 meters has been installed under Longde East Road to reduce the sudden water inflow to the Love River and prevent regional flooding.
