The Hollow Choir

Echoes crawl through chapel walls,
Stained glass eyes where darkness falls,
Hymns of sorrow, chords of pain,
Voices bound by rusted chains.

Candles weep with wax like blood,
Flowing through the pulpit’s mud,
Choir mouths sewn shut with thread,
Singing hymns of restless dead.

Sing, oh sing, the Hollow Choir,
Breaths entwined with cursed desire,
Notes that twist through rotted air,
Where the broken souls despair.

Pews that creak with ghostly weight,
Prayers that plead but come too late,
Bones that rattle with each verse,
Hymnal pages stained with curse.

Organ pipes that scream in vain,
Wails entwined with aching pain,
Hands that clap with shattered bones,
Praising grief in haunted tones.

When midnight tolls and shadows bloom,
The choir sings of certain doom,
Harsh and cracked, their voices wail,
Songs that bind the soul like nails.

Sing, oh sing, the Hollow Choir,
Breaths entwined with cursed desire,
Notes that twist through rotted air,
Where the broken souls despair.

When dawn creeps in with timid light,
The chapel moans and dreads the sight,
For silence stirs within those pews,
Where once the cursed choir sang their blues.
