When The USA Led The Automotive World | 1960 Lincoln Premiere Landau Review - Beards n Cars

Anyone who follows my car purchases and experiences on the channel knows how much love I have for the Lincoln Continental, especially when it comes to my 1968 model Coupe, aka - 'Abe. With my latest purchase of 'Mary Todd - a 1960 shape Lincoln Premiere Landau though, the drastic changes but at the same time impressive similarities between each generation of these fantastic cars becomes incredibly apparent.

Lincoln has never really occupied the same spotlight in the classic American scene as Cadillac, but from my experience they are genuinely at least as good, if not better in certain cases, than not only Cadillac's, but even worldwide contenders even at the level of Rolls-Royce and Bentley.

So in what seems to be an ongoing quest to become the younger British version of Jay Leno's Garage, let's take a walk down memory lane to bask in the sheer opulent beauty of this third generation Lincoln Continental platform in all of its wonderful Americana excess - let's review the Lincoln Continental Premiere Landau!
