Butter Face Wins!

In the rolling hills of Clover County, there lived a woman named Beatrice Faye—though everyone called her Butter Face, and not for the reasons you might think. Beatrice was a plump, rosy-cheeked baker with a smile as warm as her ovens and hair the color of golden wheat. The nickname came from her knack for slathering butter on everything she baked—croissants, biscuits, pies, you name it. Folks said her face must’ve been kissed by butter itself, ‘cause she glowed with a contentment only a master of pastries could have.
