GTA: Vice City - The Definitive Edition | Side Activities: HYMAN MEMORIAL STADIUM MISSIONS

This video showcases how to complete three Hyman Memorial Stadium Missions in GTA Vice City: Bloodring, Hotring, and Dirtring.

Bloodring

Bloodring is a destruction derby side mission held at Hyman Memorial Stadium.

The goal is to accumulate enough time extensions to increase the remaining timer to a required amount. The mission starts with 30 seconds on the clock, and the player must drive a modified Bloodring Banger around the bowl-shaped arena, collecting yellow checkpoints that appear randomly. Each checkpoint adds 15 seconds to the timer.

On the first attempt, the player must accumulate one minute in total. With each subsequent completion, the required time increases by one additional minute.

Hostile opponents driving Glendale-based Bloodring Bangers will attempt to ram the player’s car and steal checkpoints. The mission ends successfully when the required time is reached (marked by the sound of an airhorn). The mission fails if the player's car is destroyed or if the timer runs out.

Hotring

Hotring is a stock car racing side mission that takes place at Hyman Memorial Stadium.

The player controls a Hotring Racer and competes against 15 other drivers in a 12-lap race around a tight oval track. The race begins in 8th place, on the outside row. To complete the mission, the player must finish in at least third place.

If the player walks away from the track or destroys their car, they are disqualified and fail the mission.

Competitor vehicles that get wrecked will respawn at the starting line. The race is chaotic, with reckless opponents causing spinouts and pileups. The player’s car has a Car Health bar and is fragile, requiring careful driving.

A pit stop is available on the far side of the track, where the player can repair their vehicle by stopping in the designated area. This restores health and extinguishes fires, though cosmetic damage (dents, missing parts) remains. While helpful, pit stops cost valuable time and should only be used when necessary.

Dirtring

Dirtring is a checkpoint-based stunt challenge at Hyman Memorial Stadium.

The objective is to collect 32 checkpoints scattered around a dirt bike obstacle course while riding a Sanchez. Many checkpoints require stunts, such as: Loop-the-loops, jumps over wrecked cars and flaming rings, balancing along narrow ledges and planks, etc.

There is no time limit, but the player’s run is timed for performance tracking. If the player is dismounted, they have 30 seconds to remount before failing the mission. Alternatively, the mission can be canceled by walking into the halo in the center of the track.

Completion of this mission is required for 100% completion of the game.
