Returning to Vung Tau: Blind Massage, Banh Khot & Expat Life in Vietnam

We're back in Vung Tau, Vietnam, after a few years away. Vung Tau is Saigon's closest beach town and a popular getaway for expats and locals alike. We're here to focus on our business, do a bit of teaching, and enjoy the laid-back vibe.

On our first night back, we checked out a local blind massage spot, enjoyed some authentic banh khot (crispy mini pancakes made from rice flour and topped with shrimp or other fillings), and tried some tasty com chay (Vietnamese vegan food). We also stopped by the famous Whale Temple. Although it was closed, we still got a glimpse of the giant paper mache whale inside.
