In this video, you can see what the immediate care of a newborn following a caesarean section involves. This includes stimulating them by rubbing them down, drying them off, clearing their airways, weighing and measuring them, and administering their Hep B and Vitamin K injections.

Thankfully, we had a great outcome with our precious baby boy Spencer, and we will forever be grateful to the wonderful Gold Coast Private Hospital team for their exemplary care of our newborn.
