The Harrowing Hymn

Rotted wood and splintered bone,
Cursed to sing where graves have grown,
Hollow winds that breathe through clay,
Chanting doom where shadows play.

Maggots crawl through stitched-up scars,
Dreams that burn like dying stars,
Veins that twist through cursed terrain,
Bleeding night through earthbound pain.

Sing the harrowing hymn of the dead,
Wrap me in roots where nightmares are fed,
Drape my soul in funeral fire,
Burn me down in cursed desire.

Eyes that leak through woven vines,
Bones that hum in crooked lines,
Echoed wails through bloodstained moss,
Nails that scratch through iron loss.

Twilight drowns in shadowed grime,
Bleeding clocks that twist through time,
Flames that whisper through the trees,
Carving fate in blighted pleas.

Sing the harrowing hymn of the dead,
Wrap me in roots where nightmares are fed,
Drape my soul in funeral fire,
Burn me down in cursed desire.

Skies that crack with rancid breath,
Chanting through the mouth of death,
Ravens hum through woven graves,
Dreams dissolve where sorrow waves.

Lay me down in dirt and grief,
Wrap me tight in cursed belief,
Seal my fate in haunted rhyme,
Where the harrowing hymn unwinds.
