This video is a recording of some of the private interviews that were given to each of the delegates, during the preliminary competition (qualifier round), at Miss America 2005. Watch as 5 out of 52 girls compete for the title of Miss America 2005. With last years winner, Ericka Dunlap of Florida, crowning her successor at the end of the contest.

Note about Miss Idaho:
Miss Idaho for Miss America that year is actually a triple crown winner, winning not only Miss Idaho 2004 for Miss America 2005, but also winning Miss Idaho 2001 for Miss USA 2001 and Miss Teen Idaho 1998 for Miss Teen USA 1998. She would also later go on to serve as Solicitor General of the USA under the administration of the 46th POTUS, Joe Biden, this was done under her married name Elizabeth Prelogar.
