Over the years the Television show The Curse of Oak Island has developed a real following and is one of the longest running programs of its type to date. It peeked my interest when it appeard as though they were getting into a serious search and it would not be a fart in the wind next programming season. With a lot of other hunters this may have been the case. My Excitement turned to horror to protest to boycott. When they tell you they may be looking for The lost manuscripts of William Shakespeare or the ark of the Covenant then they proceed to jack hammer drill into unknown depths pulling up debris like purple Parchment indicating a possible royal decree which was the only explanation for purple parchment of that time.period or when they determined there was evidence there was a deposit of gold or silver. I know if I was looking for what. would be a priceless relic of the world, it could prove or disprove many religious beliefs on the power of the ancient holly relic. A holly relic they have elected to play whack a mole with in a deranged game of smash and grab. If it will destroy massive wood beams what would it do to an ancient relic made of wood and gold?
After a few seasons of anxiety attacks as I wait to hear how many items they found that they were embarrassed to show or were destroyed beyond recognition due to there carnival claw grab game. Where on the planet is this an excepted method of archeology.
The show has gone on several seasons since I made this video 3 or 4 years ago I have the occasional curious glance at a commercial ultimately if the Canadian Government cannot realize the importance of what has been found it would probably be lost on the idiots when they get there proof just as well.
Boy cot the show all together don't even give them commercial view time.

I hope eventually the mystery is solved. I fear we may have done more damage looking for it than they were trying to prevent by hiding it in a 19ft hole in the first place.
