Assemble a Team: Part 1 Continued:
In order to take down The Collectors, Shepard must go through the Omega-4 Relay to strike the Collectors at their base, effectively a suicide mission. In order to have a chance at being successful, the Illusive Man instructs Shepard to travel the galaxy and assemble an elite team to get the job done.

Omega:

Recruiting Zaeed: Shepard meets Zaeed Massani, a grizzled mercenary, who is already under contract with Cerberus. He joins the team immediately but mentions needing help with a personal mission later.

Meeting Aria T'Loak in Afterlife: Shepard meets Aria T’Loak, the ruler of Omega, at Afterlife. She provides information on Archangel and Mordin, warning that going after either will be dangerous.

Exploring Omega: Shepard explores Omega, speaking with various merchants, bartenders, and citizens, uncovering the chaotic state of the station.

Side Quest: Struggling Quarian: Shepard helps a quarian named Kenn, who runs a small shop but is being extorted by a veteran shopkeeper. Shepard can either pay off his debt, intimidate the rival shop owner, or encourage him to leave Omega.

Dossier: Archangel: Shepard joins a mercenary operation hunting down Archangel, who is revealed to be Garrus Vakarian. After fighting through the 3 merc groups, Shepard reaches Garrus, helps him repel waves of attackers, and extracts him back to the Normandy. Though severely injured, Garrus survives and officially joins the squad.

Side Quest: Archangel Datapad Recovered: Shepard recovers a datapad from the mercenaries during the Archangel mission and can return it to Aria for a reward.

Dossier: The Professor: Shepard tracks down Dr. Mordin Solus, a brilliant salarian scientist, who is combating a deadly plague in Omega’s slums. He agrees to join the team but insists on curing the plague first. Mordin has developed a cure for the plague but needs help to distribute it through the ventilation system, as he cannot abandon his patients. Shepard volunteers to distribute the cure, dealing with the vorcha who guard the air-control facility.

The Professor: Missing Assistant: While fighting through the plague-ridden district, Shepard finds Mordin’s missing assistant, Daniel, who is being held hostage by batarians. Depending on Shepard’s approach, Daniel can be rescued and safely reunited with Mordin.
