T. I. L. A. in State Law is Protected by the Constitution

If you search the Internet for "NAME OF STATE: Truth in Lending " where NAME OF STATE is the name of your State you will find that the Federal Truth in Lending Act, has been incorporated into state law, and in some cases specifically mentioning "Disclosure".

In effect the State Legislature made a violation of T.I.L.A. a state crime under the state consumer protection laws.

Under the 14th Amendment "“ nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

The State must protect you from understated finance charges on a Truth in Lending Disclosure / Closing Disclosure, or the State is violating the Constitution of the United States. If your disclosed Finance Charge is understated outside statutory allowance, then you are the witness and victim of a crime that the State has a duty to provide relief from.

Not providing relief would be a violation of the 14 Amendment right to equal protection of the law, the same being a crime against the United States that you are the witness and victim of.

Crimes against the United States are investigated and prosecuted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation so if the State does provide you relief report the crime to the F.B.I.

As already proved, when using an AI provided formula to calculate Finance Charge using the Disclosed APR, Amount Financed and Loan Term (Years) from your Truth in Lending Disclosure in the formula will result in a calculated Finance Charge evidencing the Disclosure Finance Charge is criminally understated.

The crime has already been committed, just not yet reported

It seems the right thing to do is start with the Police Report, so you have evidence of the State violating equal protection of the Law; or possibly it leads to your relief by the State.

City Police, County Sheriff, State Police, State Attorney General take your pick, just be sure you get a Report Number, in case you need proof that the "State" is denying equal protection of the Law to get the FBI involved.

The State Attorney General / overseer of the state consumer protection act probably has an online system to use to submit a complaint, if so, use it and it will probably give you a copy with tracking number.
