🇮🇳 Landslides in Arunachal Pradesh

⛰ On March 12 and 13, 2025, Northeast India experienced a series of major landslides triggered by heavy rainfall.

🆘 On March 12, a massive landslide blocked the Roing-Anini road in Arunachal Pradesh, disrupting transportation. The following day, on March 13, another landslide struck the Anini-Roing highway, as well as the Chhataram area, approximately 91 km from Anini.

Due to ongoing landslides, authorities have imposed travel restrictions and banned access to hazardous areas. Road clearance operations are underway, and no casualties have been reported so far.
