Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, speaking in the state assembly, emphasized that language serves as a tool for communication rather than a measure of knowledge.

"Knowledge does not come from language alone. Those who study in their mother tongue are excelling globally, as learning through one's native language is easier," Naidu stated. He reiterated that language should not be a source of division or hatred.

Highlighting the linguistic diversity, Naidu noted, "In Andhra Pradesh, Telugu is the mother tongue. Hindi is the national language, and English serves as an international language." He urged people to learn multiple languages for livelihood opportunities while preserving their native language.

Naidu further stressed the practical importance of language skills, pointing out that Hindi is useful for communication in Delhi. He also encouraged learning foreign languages such as Japanese and German, given the increasing number of people traveling to those countries for work and education.
