New blood warmer on flights

North Flight Aero Med in Traverse City will be the first in the country to use technology that warms blood in seconds. North Flight is the first civilian air program in the United States to use the warmer. The device was FDA-approved last year and it warms cold blood out of a cooler to body temperature.
