Parasha Va-yaqhel: Exodus 35:1-38:20

After downloading all of God's instructions on Mount Sinai, Moses now returns to camp to tell the Israelites how to build the Tabernacle and all its furnishings. As God instructed him, Moses now calls on Betzalel, whose name means 'In-the-image-of-God,' to do the building and overseeing of the entire project, with help from Oholiab. This is one of the few parashas in the Bible where there is no strife; in fact, the Israelites are so energized to build their Tabernacle to God, they actually bring way too much building material, and a multitude of wise men and women offer to help in its construction.
