"The initial group of 238 members from the Venezuelan criminal syndicate, Tren de Aragua, has arrived in our nation. They were promptly sent to CECOT, the Terrorism Confinement Center, for a duration of one year, with the possibility of extension.

The United States will pay a modest fee for their transfer, which is substantial for us.

Gradually, these measures, along with the ongoing output from over 40,000 detainees participating in various workshops and labor under the Zero Idleness initiative, will contribute to making our correctional system financially independent. Currently, it incurs an annual cost of $200 million.

Additionally, the U.S. has handed over 23 MS-13 members wanted by Salvadoran authorities, including two leaders. One of these individuals is part of the gang's top hierarchy.

This will enable us to complete intelligence operations and target the remaining elements of MS-13, including its former and current members, finances, arms, narcotics, hideouts, accomplices, and benefactors.

As usual, we are making progress in the battle against organized crime. However, this time, we are also supporting our allies, working towards a self-sustaining prison system, and gathering crucial intelligence to enhance national safety. All achieved through a single strategic move."
