Mysterious X-Ray Signal from Helix Nebula🌌✨ 🪐💥

An unusual x-ray signal from the Helix Nebula, first detected in 1980, could be from a star destroying a nearby planet. This signal was recently studied using data from NASA's Chandra X-Ray Observatory and the XMM-Newton, which may finally settle the question of what is causing these X-rays from WD 2226-210, the white dwarf at the center of the Helix Nebula.
