🤰A rotating table is a risky life hack for childbirth

In the 60s, the spouses Georg and Charlotte Blonsky, who had no children or medical education, came up with an unusual method for speeding up childbirth - a rotating table.

The essence of the invention was that the mother was fastened to the table, which was spinning, and thus the child "flew" into a special net.

The couple was inspired by an elephant in the zoo, which they observed before giving birth. Despite the patent, the method was never used.
