It was a normal night.

Or so I thought.

After a long day, I collapsed onto the couch.

I turned on the TV.

And then… it happened.

The screen shut off by itself.

When I turned it back on…

A pale face stared back at me.

Distorted.

Unmoving.

I tried to turn off the TV…

But the face didn’t disappear.

Every time I changed the channel…

It was still there.

Closer.

Like it was trying to come through the screen.

The air grew heavy.

A pressure weighed on my chest.

And then…

The figure smiled.

Its lips moved…

And it whispered my name.

"Josee..."

I tried to scream.

But no sound came out.

The screen began to shake.

And the face pushed forward.

Its hands reaching for me.

But when I looked at the broken TV glass…

Its reflection was still there.

Smiling.

Then…

I heard footsteps behind me.

I slowly turned…

And there it was.

Standing in the darkness.

Its twisted grin.

Coming closer.

I tried to run…

But it was too late.
