WTUE HOMEGROWN II 1981

It takes guts to believe in yourself to the point that you put your abilities up for judgement by people that you don’t even know. But 123 bands & soloists had the guts to do just that and submitted their original music to us for consideration for the second WTUE Album Project. (It should be noted here that in our minds all who took the time and energy to invest in themselves and enter their hard work deserve and have earned our sincere appreciation.)

Inside you’ll find the ‘self-made’ music of 10 bands who represent the efforts the over 600 people individually and collectively gave us the best they had in hopes of being included in this second project. The songs speak about being alone, being with friends, being in love, being out of love, good times, bad times, dreams, ponderings, and fantasies. In the end the bands speak for all of us in their rhythms, instruments, and vocals . . . They speak not of the way things are done in California or New York . . . but of the way WE do things ‘around these parts’. LET THE MUSIC SPEAK TO YOU . . . AND ENJOY!!!
