Democrats are notorious for spinning a web of lies about Republicans, gaslighting the public with scare tactics to cling to power—it’s their go-to playbook! They’ll scream that Republicans “Republicans will outlaw abortion nationwide” fearmongering—ignoring that post-Roe v. Wade, it’s a state issue, not a federal boogeyman, yet they keep peddling the lie to rile up their base. They gaslight by painting every GOP policy as racist or sexist, like calling voter ID laws “Jim Crow 2.0,” when polls show most Americans, including minorities, support them for fair elections.

Or take the constant Republicans are out to gut Social Security or ban all healthcare, like when Biden claimed in 2022 that GOP budget cuts would “end Medicare as we know it,” despite no such plan existing, just to terrify seniors into voting blue.
