In this video titled "From Hannover to the World: The Therapeutic Journey of Writing a Novel to Relieve Anxiety, Depression & Stress!," we will explore the effectiveness of writing a novel in alleviating anxiety, depression & stress.
We will begin with how writing a novel helps in alleviating these mental health problems, as this is the main focus that I have inspired from my journey in Hannover to add additional values to my walking videos in this city. This is to help people with these mental health issues... a point that suggests travel is one of the activities of wellness retreats, which is connected to other activities to relieve stress, such as writing a novel.
But, while focusing on writing a novel as stress relief, I discovered that speaking & writing about how to write a novel can also help those with an artistic passion to consider writing novels. This expansion from a wellness retreat to include insights about novels allows you to gain knowledge about novel writing, including techniques, key elements, structure & the historical development of novels. These insights are based on my experiences as an author of two novels & two short story collections. Since I began this passion in the sixties, I have found the writing process to be a source of ease, satisfaction & pleasant feelings, especially when I’m not in the mood.

I chose to cover this topic during a walking tour in Hannover because I found solace in the city's beauty. Hannover offers stress-free streets adorned with stress-relieving arts like graffiti, street art & architectural marvels. Its calming gardens with waterscapes, singing birds & romantic cafes & restaurants playing sweet, calming music provide a serene atmosphere. These elements have helped me cope with anxiety, depression & stress over the past two years.
As a veteran journalist & democratic activist, I never imagined experiencing such issues in a modern, civilized & free European country. Yet, some individuals are conspiring to terrorize me for more than two years & despite the distress & health deterioration these actions have caused, the responsible authorities have refused to open a criminal case against them. This ongoing ordeal has deprived me of peace of mind, stability & being healthy.
