Who is The Holy Spirit - Explained Simply

The Holy Spirit is not just a force or a thing. He has a mind, will, and emotions. The Bible shows over and over that He speaks, thinks, and feels. In Isaiah 63:10, the Israelites made Him sad. In Ephesians 4:30, Paul warns Christians not to make Him sad. A force or an object can't feel grief—only a person can. In 1 Corinthians 12:11, the Holy Spirit chooses who gets what spiritual gifts, proving He has a will. He is God, working with the Father and the Son.

Islam gets this wrong by saying the Holy Spirit is just an angel, like Gabriel. That’s not true. Gabriel is a created being, but the Holy Spirit is God. Ignoring this truth keeps people from knowing who God really is.
