The darkness of the night surrounded my room when I suddenly felt it.

An urge made me turn toward the half-open window.

A soft breeze moved the curtains.

And then, I saw them.

Two glowing eyes, reflecting the moonlight.

They were watching me from the outside.

My body froze.

I thought I was imagining things.

But they didn’t move.

Their stare sent a chill down my spine.

My breathing quickened.

Cautiously, I stepped closer.

With every step I took…

The eyes seemed to come closer too.

But when I tried to see them clearly…

They vanished.

A shiver ran through my body.

I decided to close the window.

But as I turned toward the curtain…

The air turned ice cold.

The eyes were no longer outside.

They were inside.

On the wall.

Watching me.

Unmoving.

As if they were feeding on my fear.
