OPEN MY EYES TO YOUR WORD, LORD!!!

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!!

I have to say guys that as I continue to read God's word, and study it, I find that I don't know enough of it, but I want to know it. I especially I find it so compelling to want to read it, to immerse myself in it, examine it closely, and study it thoroughly because I just want to know God more through His Word. One of the things that I constantly ask God for as I start reading the Bible, is that He opens the eyes and the ears of my heart every morning as I start to read His Word. I ask this, because I know that there's something precious, something special, and important God wants me to know and I don't want to miss out on it. I think that's why the questions from this morning’s devotional are so instructive to my heart, and I had to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions carefully, and I pray that God challenges your heart through them.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has been showing me from His Word, not just this morning, but throughout the years, especially from other verses of scripture, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you helps you to see that God's Word is something not to be displayed, put on a shelf, as “beautiful, beloved, but unread”, but as the powerful and awesome Word of God. Something to be revered and read, examined, studied, and shared with this lost and dying world. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn this precious truth for yourself! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to challenge you to think about these questions from this morning's devotional, and as you go to study God's word, first and foremost, ask Him to settle your heart before Him as you're going to read it, but most of all to ask Him to speak to you through it. Recognize that without God's enlightenment, you're not going to be able to understand what God's Word has for you, but be willing to submit your heart before Him, so that you can truly understand the precious truths that come from it. Let God's word be that lamp to your feet and light to your path (Psalm 119:105), allow it to examine your heart every day (Hebrews 4:12), to give you the strength and wisdom and times of trouble, protect you from deception, and broaden your understanding of how to joyfully live for Him. As Monica LaRose, this devotional writer stated so very well, “The bible is a priceless gift. May it be both revered and read.”
