Arizona Couple Caught on Video Abandoning Dog, Faces Animal Cruelty Charges

On March 10, 2025, a homeowner in Surprise, Arizona, captured a distressing video showing a man and woman abandoning a small black and white dog near a walking trail. The footage depicted the dog running after their vehicle as they drove away.

The following day, March 11, 2025, Logan Gambill, 20, from Wittmann, and Priscilla Galanos, 26, from Phoenix, turned themselves in to the Surprise Police Department. Galanos, identified as the dog's owner, faced a misdemeanor charge of animal cruelty. Gambill was charged with conspiracy to commit animal cruelty, also a misdemeanor.
