My Svalbard Apartment Tour || Longyearbyen, Norway 🇳🇴

Here is a tour of my apartment here on Svalbard. Svalbard is a work camp in the purest form. It’s run by tourism, and since living and working here is visa free, there’s workers from all over the world. Most of anywhere to live is already rented out by the companies that own all the businesses. So when you work here, you will essentially sublease your apartment from whichever company you work for!

When I arrived in Longyearbyen to work on Svalbard, I was picked up at the airport and driven to my very own 1 bedroom apartment. I was handed the keys like “This is your place.”

The rent here is 9,500kr.
