Cafe 1930 - Astor Piazzolla (Evan Kuhnert | Noon Tunes Winter 2024 Scholarship Winners)

Cafe 1930 is the second movement of Piazzolla's "Histoire du Tango", a four part suite tracing the evolution of tango music from its origins in Argentinian brothels to a modern concert setting. This movement reflects a romantic, lyrical and harmonically rich style of tango from the 1930s.
