Proverbs 3:13-18 present Wisdom as precious and desirable. Proverbs 9:1-6 relates the desirable feast which she prepares. (Mixed wine - is well prepared wine - both diluted to be simply refreshing and also spiced) But Proverbs 8 has the passages behind this song. Since Wisdom is personified as female and full of wisdom (light) we see Proverbs 8 passages. But women in particular, including my wife, do well to aspire to this divine ideal - what happens when the Spirit indwells them. This song transforms people - which I've had the privilege of watching with my own eyes.
