The MINECRAFT MOVIE is Projected to Have a Solid Opening Weekend

The early box office projections are in for A Minecraft Movie and so far, it looks pretty solid, but not necessarily a hit.

In North America the Jack Black and Jason Momoa starring movie is expected to bring in around $58 million. It’s unclear what the movie will bring in overseas, but if it’s comparable then that would make a global opening of around $100 million on a $150 million budget. This is not bad it the movie turns out to have legs; however, that predicated on how audiences take to it. It’s audience scores are low then I think we could expect to see a steep drop off during the following weeks.
